A Notice posted on our front window reminding people not to bring in injured wildlife.

NOTICE:

This is a reminder NOT to bring injured, sick, lost or dead wildlife to our office.

If you find an injured or sick animal pleased contact Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Centre at 519-264-2440.

If you find an injured turtle, please call Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre at 1-705-741-5000.

 Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority (ABCA) does not typically rescue, rehabilitate, or deal with sick or injured wild animals.

While we manage and protect natural habitats, the care of distressed wildlife requires specialized training, facilities, and government permits and you should contact the appropriate agencies who have the required training and permits.
